You know how they say hindsight is 20/20? Well, when it comes to mistakes entrepreneurs make, it’s absolutely true.

When I first started ‘my own business’, I had no idea what I was doing. And even with numerous coaches over the years, I have still made some pretty spectacular mistakes….

I was pink slimed.

Pink slime is actually a term I got from my coach and mentor, Jennifer Kem. And today, it happened to me.

Today the woman whose image I re-posted for my daily Instagram post contacted me to demand that I take it down because it was hers. And then threatened to send me an invoice for the use of the photo if I did not comply immediately.

Let’s talk about trolls, shall we?

Lately I’ve been seeing tons of posts about trolls on the internet.

I mean, it’s either someone posting a troll comment, or they’re posting to complain about the trolls in their comments.

(Lookee there. I got all my they’re/their/there’s right. But I don’t know why I always sound like I’m straight out the old west when I do that…)

Even the trolls are talking about trolls.

Recently I saw a post from a woman asking for help making more money in her business.

She had around 450 people on her email list and was only seeing a return of about $15 a month from adsense.

And she wanted to know what to do to make more money.

I saw dozens of replies with advice on getting better results from adsense. As well as other advice on layering similar streams of income from other companies, and which ones were best.

And I felt sad at how deeply the scarcity mentality runs in our society.

Because none of them were seeing the obvious right in front of their faces.

And I don’t tell you this to troll these people on the internet.

As a society, we have become so consumer driven that we have created an entire industry around helping us organize all of our crap. Now, I am not saying anything negative about the organization industry, I am actually a huge fan of it. I love organization! (it's a Leo...
